Thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. Family, friends and football. To be sure, preparations for tomorrow have been taking place for many days, maybe even weeks. It can be easy for some things to be lost among the commotion of this holiday. This is why God’s Word reminds us this evening to “Remember the LORD, your God.” He has done so much for his people: he has created us, he has provided for us, he has given us our mind and our bodies. But most important of all, he has given us his Son. Tonight, we—along with the prophets and apostles and all God’s people—cry out, “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; His love endures forever!” Join us at 7:00 pm!
