Pastor Andy

Pastor Andy Retberg has been serving at Good Shepherd since moving to The Woodlands in 2008. He graduated from Martin Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 and received his Master of Divinity Degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2004. In both college and Seminary Pastor Andy was trained in the original Biblical languages of Hebrew and Greek. Pastor Andy served previously at Salem Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, Arizona from 2004-2008. He and his wife, Amy, have four children: Maddox, London, Olivia, and Wyatt. Pastor Andy’s love for God’s Word is the focus of his work as he leads the members of Good Shepherd in its timeless truths.


“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

Pastor Jeremy

Pastor Jeremy Schulz joined the people of Good Shepherd in 2018. He moved to The Woodlands from Tacoma, Washington, where he served for 14 years at our sister congregation, Faith Lutheran Church. He also graduated from Martin Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 and received his Master of Divinity Degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2004. He loves serving in the ministry and striving to teach God’s Word clearly and in depth. There isn’t anything Pastor would rather do than share Jesus’ saving name to our church family and surrounding community. Pastor Jeremy and his wife Amanda have two daughters, Calla and Hazel.

Ingrid Meyer

Ingrid Meyer has faithfully served Good Shepherd for many years. She was a part of the staff of our Learning Center since it opened in 2002. Ingrid became the Director in 2007, serving over 130 children with over 20 teachers. She makes sure the Learning Center offers a Christ-centered, quality education in a safe and loving environment. The Learning Center enrolls children eighteen months old through transition age. The smiles and growth of the children fills Ingrid with joy each day.


Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).
